We've got a nice bunch of kids and parents, and our division is generally pretty friendly. But lest you think it's all rainbows and ponies over here, I just got an email from the club reminding coaches that a) all players should be played equally, no matter their skill level and b) they shouldn't be yelling at the refs when they don't agree with their call. (Our refs are a nice bunch of teenagers.) I have a feeling the problems are mostly in the boys' older divisions, but it still makes me a bit sad that they had to say that at all.

Of course, for the really insane behaviour in Canadian sport, you have to go to hockey. The parents in the minor hockey leagues can be truly frightening.

More Pros soon! Say, you wouldn't want to give it a preview, would you? I don't need a beta, but I'm looking for someone to do a first read and make sure the ending isn't weak. And there's absolutely no deadline for it.
