Easter Hijinks, and Brainwashing Complete

Ros has decided she wants to walk in the local Easter Parade with our martial arts school. Which meant a trip to the dollar store to get Easter accountrements.


The ears also came with a little tail. It should look adorable with her martial arts uniform.

In related news, the Sweetie also got Easter gear to wear. (He'll be walking with her. I, having driven like a maniac down from my mom's to get them to the parade staging area in time, will be having a brief rest before I go to watch the parade.)

The Sweetie made me close my eyes before he modelled his purchase, and then asked me one thing.

Sweetie: So, is this worthy of Howard Donald?




I'm chuffed the Sweetie is now aspiring to Howard Donald levels of goofiness (there's a reason Howard is his favourite member of Take That, even though he's a bit annoyed to have a favourite member of Take That) but I'll be a bit afraid if he ever decides to emulate Howard's Bo Peep costume.

As for Howard, he has been posting a dazzling array of crazy photos in the last few months, bless his (literal) cotton socks. *g*

LOL! I'd also be very concerned if my hubby ever showed up in a tiny pink dress :P I wonder what Howard's GF thinks of it (let alone his daughters, I'm not sure I'd be too happy if there were pics like that of my dad on the internet haha!).

If the Sweetie ever turned up in a tiny pink dress it would take me days to stop laughing. *g*

I suspect Howard's GF is at least used to his...peculiarities. After all, he seems to have been a charming goof from the start and consistently ever since. She must know by now what she's got into. As for his daughters, yeah, I bet they're not keen on his penchant for posting goofy pics of himself. Though as a parent, there is a certain pleasure to be taken in embarrassing your offspring. (Ros has already taken to rolling her eyes when she thinks we're being weirdos. Which, of course, only encourages us.)
