I have actually talked to him, when he was at the fest for Alatriste, so I figured anything I could say this time would just be more of the same. He was incredibly kind to the people who did talk to him. He's just a lovely, lovely man.
And yes, the Algerian film is fantastic. Jauja is more challenging (lots of long takes and a very attenuated narrative) but still worth seeing.
