The headache came after the allergic reaction, but I'm sure there's some weird snarl of causality there. The Sweetie has posed the theory that the migraine was tripped by the allergic reaction. Not that it does me too much good, since beyond cardio exercise the exact mechanism for why the reaction happens is a mystery. I shall just do what I can to avoid reactions and migraines, and muddle on when the inevitable happens.
