MW was fading a bit at the old hotel, but it's really suffered since moving to the new venue. I'm not sure it's possible to revive at this point. A good chunk of the problem is the organizers' refusal to change. They won't do one day memberships, insist on a room lottery when there are plenty of rooms available and are snarky about restricting panel topics only to things they approve of, all, from what I can see, out of a vindictive sense of control. I used to be able to ignore their stupidity, but it's started impinging more and more on my actual enjoyment of the con. ::sigh::
