I spent 6 weeks in Europe in 2000. Three in France, three in the UK. When I left France for London, I could barely button my pants (the same pair I had on when I landed in Paris three weeks earlier... ) When I left the UK to come back home, the same pants were back to being confortable... You don't visit England-Scotland for the food, that's for sure :) But I'd go back to Scotland in a minute if I could... Have a good and safe trip.
