I've never seen Sharpe, but this was a great introduction...
I love your choice of music - the lyric to the effect of "I never felt so alive as when I was huddled in the trenches with you" was incredibly moving. The emotion between them is so thick it's almost like a visible aurora. Thank you for creating and sharing.

This is so not my type of music. I mean, if I'm in the UK, the music is in Australia. I'm only saying this because I really, really enjoyed the vid - it made me like the music and now I'm going to have to go watch all my Sharpe DVDs again, darn you!! *coff* Very, very nicely done :)

You must watch Sharpe. Bean is very easy on the eyes in the whole series.

As for the song, I knew I had to vid it as soon as I heard it. It doesn't hurt that the guy who wrote it is on record as saying it's completely meant to be homoerotic. ;)

First, I'd say give The Decembrists a chance. Your musical taste seems to mirror my own quite a bit, and they're one of my favourite band du jour. And fantastic live.

As for watching all your Sharpe DVDs again, I feel for you. Heh.

Thank you. I've been searching forever for a song to vid Sharpe to, so it was nice to actually be able to do it. The world needs more Sharpe and Harper.
