The lovely
st_crispins has just pointed out that one of my vids has been stuck up on youtube. Any other vidders have any advice on what the heck I should do about this? I'd love to post a comment on the vid pointing out that it's bad form to put up someone else's work, but I'm already feeling a wee bit exposed.
I've just put a big, freaking do not share these vids warning on my site, and I've really got to get around to password protecting my site. I'm going to give it a day, and then I'll probably be yanking the vid portion of my site down until I can get around to doing the password thing.
I so did not need this to happen right now.

Date: 2006-06-27 02:18 pm (UTC)If you could post a comment asking the person to remove it, I'd be very appreciative. You can tell them you're asking on my behalf and say that while I applaud their enthusiasm, I want to keep my vids in fannish forums to protect them as much as possible from legal difficulties. You might also want to add that it's good form to ask permission before posting something created by another fan.
