Why I Need a Digital Camera

Because it takes me forever to take film to be developed, is why. And then I find wacky things on the roll I'd forgotten I'd even had.


Like Viggo Mortensen, taken outside the Ryerson Theatre before the Toronto Film Fest screening of Alatriste.




Or like the Sweetie and me attending the final screening (of 2001) at the Royal cinema, one of Toronto's last rep cinemas and our home away from home.


(Don McKellar was sitting behind me. Bastard kicked my seat all during the screening.)

I can recall one of my bosses having all his children on the one film and they were a few years apart ... you are not alone.
