Goodbye Bucky

Stuck home sick at home again today, I just watched the recording of the Wisconsin/UNLV game from yesterday. And it looks like it's time to bid Bucky Badger farewell for another year.

For the second game in a row, the Badgers got whumped in the first half, only to come back in the second. It briefly looked like they might even win, but then UNLV took off and there was no way they could catch them. Still, it was an exciting game.

And given how much we have to do in the next two weeks, I'm not entirely unhappy that I won't have NCAA basketball to distract me, along with everything else.

Okay. One silver lining. *g* Naturally, I'd picked Wisconsin to go all the way--well I pretty much had to, didn't I? (I knew I shouldn't have let my colelagues talk me into joining the pool....)

My condolences on the pool. It's been years since I participated in a March Madness pool. I usually come pretty darn close to finishing last.

(Which doesn't stop me from entering a friend's summer movie pool, but that's a whole 'nother ball game. Plus I actually won that one year.)
