ZCon, Yay!

Well, barring any unforeseen catastrophes, it looks like I'm going to ZCon. (I wasn't sure I should, but the Sweetie is pretty confident he can handle the little girl for four days by himself and is encouraging me to go.) So, yay!

It also looks like I'll be showing a new Pros vid. I've got it finished. With the exception of one stupid little three second and eighteen frame two shot right near the end which is going to kill me. But which I'm sure I'll crack sooner or later. (But if anyone on the flist has a suggestion for a medium (waist up) two shot of Doyle looking at Bodie with a certain amount of affection that lasts just under 4 seconds with no talking and no distracting movement, I'd love to hear it. Oh, and hopefully a shot that hasn't been overused too much. And trust me, I've tried a lot of the usual suspects and even more not-so-usual ones and nothing's been the perfect shot yet. *Sigh*)

Four Days

Four days? I think it's only three full days, right? I don't need any further increase to my anxiety levels. (Seriously, I'm really looking forward to spending quality time with my little girl over an extended weekend. Just don't be surprised to find me splayed out on the couch, gibbering in baby-talk when you get back home.)

I've been meaning to write and tell you that I've gotten to see "Cosy Prisons" twice now (at Media and at Close Quarters) and was blown away by it both times. Your shots and timing never cease to amaze me, and what you did with the boys and that song was phenomenal. I'm excited to hear that you're working on more.
