Clearly I am insane.

It's not like I've got copious quantities of spare time, but ever since [livejournal.com profile] halcyon_shift posted the time stamp meme, I've been thinking how fun it would be. So ...

Give me one of my own stories, on LJ or my site, and a time stamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or in the past before it started, and I'll write at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

Taking a cue from [livejournal.com profile] msmoat, if you can also tell me why that story and that time, it'll definitely jog an idea faster.

Given how much spare time I don't have, I'll only promise to do, say, the first three comments, but I'll make a valiant attempt at any thereafter. (After all, ya never know how the muse is going to strike.)

Speaking of spare time, I forgot to get you the Supernatural Season 1 disks. Doh!

Also, I remembered: the female hunter on the first ep of Season 3 played Ianto's cyber-esque girlfriend on Torchwood.

Monday was fun! I enjoyed the movie.

I'll get the SPN disks next time I see you. (We have plenty to watch until then.)

As for the female hunter, noooo, not Cyberwoman! That episode marks when I really started to hate Torchwood. Mind you, the S2 teaser of Spike kissing Captain Jack has got me looking forward to the new season. Mmmmm, boy kissin'.

I had fun Monday too! And totally needed it. (Rosalind is in major busy mode these days.)

Remember this story? (http://przed.livejournal.com/135148.html)

Remember my comment to it? A sequel, where Boromir recognizes and remembers Aragorn, would be very nice sometime...

That request still holds! I'd love to see something tickling in the back of Boromir's mind, some small trait that says: We've met before.

Oooh, believe it or not, I was just looking at that comment the other day and contemplating what might come next. Stay tuned...

Okay, this is turning into a proper story. But here's a snippet to whet your appetite:

They are one week out of Imladris when he remembers.

It is long past midnight and he is standing watch over their company, ensuring no Orcs or other fell creatures find their camp and bring their evil to the little ones in their care.

There is a snap of a twig and he whirls, sword drawn, only to find the Ranger and would-be king approaching.

Aragorn gives a slight smile, his eyes glittering in the dim light of the crescent moon. Boromir does not return the smile, only nods in acknowledgement as he sheaths his sword.

They stand in silence, shoulder to shoulder, attention focussed outward, senses straining for signs of the Enemy and his minions, both determined to keep the Fellowship safe. Boromir allows himself a glance in Aragorn's direction and it is then that he has a flash of memory...

Ooh! Comment fic!

Well, now Aragorn's giving me his side. With luck, I'll be done-ish by the weekend.
