I was tagged by probodie, and I've never done this one before, so what the heck...

The rules are easy, just post 10 things that recently made you happy! Then tag some people and force them to suggest that they post this meme on their LJs. Because it is good. Everyone needs a little happiness once in a while.

1. Having finally written LotR slash again, after a three year drought.

2. Doing something silly enough that Rosalind giggles hysterically.

3. Finding out Martin Shaw's new series, Apparitions, has been picked up for a full season. (On the downside, it's going to delay the broadcast, but hey, MORE MARTIN SHAW YAY!)

4. Watching Rosalind figure something out on her own.

5. Finally coming up with the scene that's going to move the logjam on the Pros novel I've now been working on for far too long.

6. Finishing a new Pros vid.

7. Finishing a new Pros vid well before the Escapade deadline.

8. Rosalind learning a new word. (Latest one: eye.)

9. The documentary Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who, which I missed at the film fest this year but got for Christmas on DVD.

10. Rosalind falling asleep in my arms.

Hey, I'm doing a new Pros vid for Escapade, too! This will be the first time in like forever that there will be two Pros vids there. I don't think I've seen that since... well, maybe all the way back to my first cons in the mid'90s. Whoa!

I saw you listed as an attending member at Escapade and got all excited. But at least there may be a vid of yours to see.

There seems to be an error with the Escapade site, so supporting members are turning up as attending. (I emailed Jennifer about the problem and she's supposedly on it.) I'd love to go--I didn't talk to you nearly enough last year--but at least my vid will have fun in my place.

Here's the PR blurb about Appartions:

Martin Shaw plays Father Jacob, a priest working to promote candidates for sainthood who becomes drawn in to exorcism as he discovers a dark battle between good and evil. A battle that threatens the future of the human race itself.

Sounds extremely promising, especially since it was created by Joe Ahearne, the prime force behind the awesomely excellent Ultraviolet.
