I've got a question for the Brits on my flist that came up in writing a Pros story.

Circa 1978, how much would a Cadbury Fruit & Nut bar cost?

That's similar to what I remember in Canada as a kid, so I think I'll go with it.

I suspect 15p might be around the mark - but in all honesty I don't know. But I suppose it's possible that Cadbury's might give you the info on their product range in the 1970s if you asked them sweetly - for the purposes of your little history project requiring research into everyday life at that time? You might be working on a TV script or be a history teacher or - or something *g*

Oooh, you're even more enterprising than me. I'd checked Cadbury's site, but didn't think about emailing them. I do think I'm going to go with the 15p amount, though, since it's close to what I was paying over on this side of the pond as a kid.
