A Sincere Thank You

I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who left comments about the death of my father. It meant a lot to me and helped give me the strength to get through the funeral yesterday.

I'm still up north and borrowing a cousin's computer, so I won't be able to respond to you all individually until next week, but I did want to tell you all I'm thinking about you.

I'm very sorry for your loss, I know what it's like to lose a parent.

I'm trying to find your charity of choice to make a donation in his honour, but your local newspaper doesn't seem to be online at this point. Can you give me the info?

The charity my mom picked was the Lung Association. (I think the local paper is called the North Star Beacon these days, but if they have a website it's likely a rudimentary one.)

We totally have to get together once I'm back in town.
