Lace and Blade 2

So here are the details of the anthology I sold the story to.

Lace and Blade 2--which editor deborahjross describes as the "second volume of this series of elegant, witty, dashing and sexy romantic fantasy"--is coming out on February 14, 2009. Yes, that's Valentine's Day, so I expect you all to get copies as Valentine's Day presents for the significant others in your life. Or, you know, yourselves. (More information on how to get it later.)

The author lineup is stunning, but I have to say I'm most chuffed to be in the company of Tanith Lee. Never mind the countless novels and story collections she's put out, she also wrote two of my favourite episodes of Blake's 7.

In an effort to put a bit of distance between my fannish and writing lives, I've recycled my old paulinezed journal to concentrate on the pro writing stuff. (Feel free to friend away.) I've put the full anthology lineup there, as well as details on the first volume of the series which I heartily recommend.

Congrats! You must be on Cloud 9 right now. :-) And what a great lineup of writers. I love Jarmen's stuff, especially (big surprise,) her novel on Richard III. I'm most certainly going to purchase this little gem!

I'm definitely excited. Not least because it is such a fab lineup of writers and I get to discover a few I wasn't familiar with. (Shall look for Jarman's R III book, for a start.)
