First of all, it's snowing! I know it's October, but really, was that necessary?

Second, I couldn't resist taking the What Your Taste in Art Says About You Test that's popping up all over the flist, even if I think it's really flawed. (Whilst I'm fond of Ukiyo-e art, I'm really more about the Abstract Expressionists with a side helping of Paolo Ucello and Der Blaue Rieter. And also, man, whoever wrote the test picked some really crappy examples of most of the styles.)

Anyway, here are my results...

Although the Japanese were more strict and had many prohibitions it did not affect the rising merchant class and therefore became a floating art form that did not bind itself to the normal ideals of society.
