We're just about to set off up north to spend Christmas with my mom, but before we hit the road, I just want to wish everyone out in LJ Land a very good holiday season.

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Solstice, Hanukkah (or Chanukah), or just enjoy pressies and turkey, here's hoping that you and yours have a lovely time and a wonderful new year.

Merry Christmas, sweetie! I know you will have a lovely time with your mom. It's strange not having parents around to mark the holidays anymore, but never fear, my youngest sister has jumped in to fill the gap. She is making Christmas dinner. Of course, I get to pick up the other sister and drive down in the winter weather. ::sigh:: But overall, it's a much better holiday than I expected. Lots of visiting with friends and playing Santa for others. I love doing that. In my next life, I want to be Santa Claus!
