Back from Vancouver

We got back last night from our vacation in Vancouver. It was lovely, in a low key sort of way. There was a picnic on the beach, and releasing baby salmon into a stream, and lots of ice cream. (Ros had her first ice cream in her own cone and managed to only get a wee bit messy.)

One of the main outings we did was the Vancouver Aquarium. And one of my favourite things there was the room full of jellyfish. They're just so alien and beautiful, especially in a darkened room. I couldn't help but take a bunch of pictures.

How did Roz do on the plane?

I still feel cheated about not getting to go to the Vancouver Aquarium because of the blackout of 2003.

Ros was a bit nutty on the way out, but did pretty good on the way back. Getting an iPod Touch before the trip was genius. We loaded it up with all her fave shows, and it kept her interested for half and hour at a time.

If you ever get to Vancouver, you must check out the aquarium.

As for movie picks, I'm starting to mull. And recruit!
