I'm posting from my own machine!

The Sweetie hauled the great behemoth upstairs, it's all hooked up and working. And the Sweetie has confirmed that yes, it does in fact weigh a ton.

Sweetie: Oh. My. God. This thing is heavy.
Me: I told you it was heavy.
Sweetie: I thought you were just being a wimp.
Me: 0_0
Sweetie: Seriously, how did you get this downstairs by yourself.
Me: I told you. I did it a floor at a time and took a five minute break on each floor.
Sweetie: I thought you were kidding.

The Sweetie is mostly awesome, but sometimes he needs a stern talking to.

And fingers crossed, my lovely machine stays up and running perfectly for a good long while.

The Sweetie mostly knows. And occasionally has to be reminded. *g*

I keep a clue-by-four handy to use on my sweetie. I had to use it just late last week. He emailed me asking if I'd bought anything yet for the wedding we were supposed to go to last Saturday; I replied that no, I'd been a little busy cleaning up Daughter's barf from too much nasal drainage from the H1N1.

*shakes head at total cluelessness*

Clue-by-four. I love it!

And also, I hope your daughter's feeling better. (I'm just hoping ours doesn't come down with any brand of the flu this year.)

She spent seven days totally miserable, another two half-miserable, and another two after that trying to get her life back together at school when all she really wanted to do was take a nap. These last couple of days she seems to be running at full power, finally. But we prevented it turning into pneumonia, which was a worry, since she's asthmatic. *does happy-mum dance*

And although her brother may in time pick it up at school, we managed to keep the rest of the household from catching it from her.

*crosses fingers that this doesn't happen before their appointment to get Type-A immunizations next Weds, since they won't give 'em if you're running a fever*

Wonderful that it didn't turn into pneumonia. And that no one else in the family got it.

And all this reminds me I've got to call our pediatrician and find out when their flu shot clinic is.

The Sweetie read this post and is now using the term "clue-by-four" with abandon. As in "Are you going to hit me with a clue-by-four now." Go you!

He really *is* a sweetie, isn't he? And when you say 'floor' do you mean a step at a time?
