It's Nice to Know They're Still Teaching the Classics

The Ros decided to serenade me while she was taking a bath tonight...

Ros: Jingle bells, Batman smells.
Robin laid an egg
The Batmanbile lost its wheel
And the Joker took ballet
Me: O_O

And now she's singing it to herself while we listen on the monitor.

I don't know what I find more amusing. The "Batmanbile" part, or the Joker taking ballet part.

We used to sing that, only the last line was "And the Joker got away."

I like Ros' version better.

Our version was "And the Joker broke his leg." I like Ros' version better too.

I learned it with the "and the Joker got away" line--I definitely prefer her version! I'll sing it that was from now on. Er, if there is occasion for it. (cough)

We're totally changing the way we sing it. I'm now picturing the Joker in a tutu. (Ros also informed her dad that the Joker was not in her ballet class, he was in the special Easter ballet class. I'd pay good money to track the way her mind works.)
