YAY!!!!!!!!!
Feb. 25th, 2010 03:57 pmI HAVE A JOB!
The job I wanted, at the salary I wanted. (Not quite as much vacation as I hoped, but close.)
I just have to get the official offer, sign it and send it back. Then I start March 15. Which is awesome, since I was hoping to get a bit of time off before starting.
And I am now off to look at booking a flight to England for a quick visit.
Again, I say YAY!!!!!!!!

Date: 2010-02-26 02:31 am (UTC)The trip to England is also booked. I'm off to stay for five days with a mate who's teaching there. And she's got us tickets to see Judi Dench Monday night. This is going to be awesome! (Ros is less impressed, but I'm sure she'll enjoy the Daddy time.)

Date: 2010-02-26 03:02 am (UTC)Monday night? So you must be leaving pretty soon then. *g*
How fantastic about getting to visit your mate and get to see the great Dame too. Say hello the old girl for me... I mean London, not Ms. Dench. *g*
I last saw Dench on stage about 4-5 years ago in the RSC's musical production of The Merry Wives of Windsor. She was brilliant.
She'll get over it and in the meantime, look at the independent woman role model you're providing. *g*

Date: 2010-02-26 03:18 am (UTC)I've never seen Dench on stage. I had a chance years ago to see her and Michael Williams do Much Ado in Regent Park, but for some stupid reason didn't take it. I'm glad to see her this time. She's about the last great English thesp on my "see on stage before you die" list.
