The BB Word Count

I've been making some real progress on my Pros Big Bang story, but I want to start recording that progress so I can see if I'm going to finish in time.

So here's the handy word meter visual:


I'd hoped to be further along than 50%, but I'll take even that amount of progress. Especially since I was totally blocked until about two weeks ago.

Now if only I had a good idea of the ending...

Seriously, I'm not really that fast. Not most of the time. But every once in a while, once I have a firm idea of the next few scenes, I can turn off the internal editor and just get words on the page. Fortunately, that seems to be happening.

Plus, you don't know if those words truly sucketh. Your envy may be premature. *g*

I'm totally not there. Do we need to have an actual complete rough draft by the deadline? Or a good start with a clear idea of how the rest will go?
