Here's the second of my timed out zine stories. This one is from the first Never Far Apart 2, published by the lovely
justacat. The story is up on the AO3 archive.
Title: Firsts
Fandom: Pros
Pairing: Bodie/Doyle
Word Count: 17,728
Summary: There's a first time for everything.
Notes: This was originally meant to be a few vignettes that I could knock out in a week or two. It ended up being a whole lot more than that, with a nutty structure that took me severals years to unravel. I couldn't have done it without the friends who helped me fix it where it was broken and figure out which vignettes to leave in and which to pull out. Thanks to
msmoat and FJBryan for helping out with the structural stuff and making sure it didn't topple over, and to
callistosh65 and
ancastar for beta duties above and beyond the call once I had an actual complete draft. And as always, thanks to
justacat for making sure no typo got through. Any errors remaining are my own.
