I seem to somehow be living in a country that has just elected a Conservative majority.

What the hell, people? I mean, just what the hell? The Conservatives lying, being in contempt of Parliament, not allowing anyone but the party faithful from attending rallies, and just generally doing heinous thing after heinous thing wasn't enough proof that their unworthy of holding seats, let alone ruling the bloody country?

At least my riding, and most of downtown Toronto, went firmly NDP.

I shall be spending the next four years with my head down.

Well, I'm a long-term NDP-er, so them getting so many seats was the one bright spot, from my POV.

But Harper is an evil, corporate-lackey robot and I want him GONE!

They're too far left for my tastes. And Harper is way too far right...

Which leaves me with nothing ;-(

I quite agree there : pretty sure he invented the expression "two-faced" ;-(

We will survive. Somehow!
