The Sweetie's mum is visiting for a few days, and he's taken her off tonight to see Hugh Jackman's singing and dancing extravaganza that's here for the next week. (I'm seeing Mr. Jackman next week.) But the Sweetie also took the day off work today so they could take Ros to Centre Island for the day, and they came back knackered.

Sweetie: I'm exhausted. I don't know if I'm going to be able to stay awake.
Me: Will not the pure sex appeal of Hugh Jackman keep you awake?
Sweetie: I don't actually find him that sexy.
Me: What?
Sweetie: As Wolverine, sure. If he was going to be wearing Wolverine sideburns and the claws, I'd totally find him sexy.
Me: Well, sure.
Sweetie: But as just Hugh Jackman, he's not at all interesting.
Me: But--
Sweetie: He's no Eric Bana.
Me: What?!
Sweetie: I'd totally do Eric Bana.
Me: 0_0

I question his taste, but in the end, I definitely married the right guy.

Wolverine, in his sexiest jacket. Not that I've thought about this at all. ;-)


Or Hugh Jackman, looking suave.

Oh, and my lovely mate Blythe, a fellow Torontonian(?), reports that he's turning up early before every performance and chatting with fans, signing things and posing for photos before the show. Just saying... *g*

Good to know. Shall have to inform the mate I'm going with and see if she wants to play fangirl. (Mind you, I've only done that sort of thing once, for Viggo Mortensen, who is a special case all by himself.)
