We're off in a couple of minutes for four days of camping at Killbear Provincial Park. (Yes, there are bears in the park. Friends who were there last week had one trudge through their campsite one night. There are also rattle snakes. And raccoons. I'm hoping we're spared the bears and rattle snakes. I can handle the raccoons.)

I'm hoping four days of (relative) relaxation might shake loose the last bits of my Pros BB story. I'm in the final stretch, but my muse has packed it in for the moment. I'm hoping she's just regrouping. :-/

I also hope four days off work might break the cycle of echo migraine pain I've been dealing with the last two weeks. It's not, thankfully, a full blown migraine, but this dull, constant ache that gets worse when I bend down. Or walk. Or move. And apparently it'll be a minimum two month wait for an MRI appointment so my doctor can check what the heck is going on. Drats.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, with no bears or rattle snakes or migraines!

There was loveliness and not-so-much pain, and writing. Possibly relating to the icon. *g*

Had my first pretty-much-pain-free day today. So of course, it was the day I decided to go back to my doctor. :-/

The Howard/Jason written is part of the Wait for Life story, which is finally ticking along nicely. I may have something to sling your way in the next week or so, if you have time to take a look.

Pain-free is good at least? But yes, so utterly annoying to visit Dr on symptom-free day :(

I would absolutely *love* to see your IWFL fic, yes please! I'm on hols this week (with good internet access and free time) so be more than happy to fill the hours with TT and your writing *g*

At least I got a prescription for the NSAID that seems to take down the pain when it flares. And the doc was able to calm my fears that it was a stroke or aneurysm building by confirming that my blood pressure is, as usual, ridiculously low. (100 over 60! Crazy.)

As for the IWFL story, since you're on hols this week, maybe I'll send you what I've got in the next day or two. It's almost all outlined now, and over half-written, and I wouldn't mind seeing what you think of it so far. I've gone a bit bonkers with a non-linear structure. Which is only appropriate, given the inspiration, I suppose, but has had me gnashing my teeth in frustration more than once.

Congratulations on your blood pressure *g*

And oooh, yes please for the story! I am very keen on non-linear structure but it can be a bugger certainly - will be very glad to take a look!
