Why My Sweetie Rocks

In spite of temperatures that have suddenly dropped into the Arctic realm--minus 21!--my sweetie made the supreme sacrifice today and dashed up to Theatrebooks just before it closed to purchase the second last copy of the LOTR issue of Empire just for me. Today was really not a day when you wanted to be walking around outside, so he got the great big sloppy kiss he so rightly deserved.

I know the feeling. The two years I lived in Wisconsin, I used to regularly mailorder British theatre magazines from Theatrebooks, just for a taste of home *and* England.

So, I guess this isn't a good time to mention that yesterday I managed to snag the only copy in the immediate area here that hadn't been sent back to the publishers when the new issue came out? ;)
