Yuletide, Yay!

Was very excited to get my Yuletide assignment last night, though it did stress me out a bit. It's a fandom I've wanted to write in for years, but I've never been sure I could do it justice.

But this morning my muse kicked loose a scene and a structure, and now the sucker is at 600 words and counting. Huzzah!

If anything, I'm writing too much. (I've got 4 active WIPs on the go at the moment.) But it is a wonderful time of year for it all.

I am getting my second dog book (Sir Darby: Another Sensitive Dog) off to the formatter this weekend. Hope to publish next week.

And once I send that off, I can get back to my novel, Calin's Cowboy, the one the photo is for. Yee-ha! I wanted to publish before Christmas, but I have way too much writing left to do. It will have to go live in January instead. I can't ask my formatter to work over the Christmas week. LOL!

I guess I should learn to format my own stuff. *sigh* But she's so good at it!
