Soccer Night: Game Four
Jun. 12th, 2013 12:07 amIt was looking a bit dodgy yesterday, when we had monsoon-like rains all day and night, but we had another lovely night for our game. And the kids had a great game. They were all really digging in, and our two goalies went above and beyond the call. And we had a great result. We won, 5 - 0!
At the end I was actually hoping the other team would get at least one goal, because I know how discouraging that can be from the other side. But they seemed to have had a good time, too.

Date: 2013-06-12 07:40 pm (UTC)I downloaded the album Sunday night. First impression: LOVE IT! There's not a song I don't like, and I seriously love most of it. My favourites change hour to hour, but I'm definitely loving Giveaway, Heaven's Falling, End of Everything, and Carnival. How about you?

Date: 2013-06-12 08:25 pm (UTC)Aw that sounds good! It's so nice reading about all these positive experiences, don't think Mark could give anything but a great show! Also read something about him being a bit overwhelmed by the response in Sheffield. The precious human being.
Have you had a look at the set list yet? (I want to know everything, so I have to be careful not to spoil others ;))

I did see the set list. (I wasn't going look at it, then I stumbled across it on Tumblr and decided I didn't want to expend energy hoping for songs that weren't ever going to show up.) While many of my favourite older songs aren't there (Pieces of Heaven, sigh) it looks like a satisfying combination of older and new, with a bit of TT, but not too much, thrown in for good measure.
Can't wait!
