Dear Yuletide Writer

przedYuletide is here, and I could not be more excited that you're going to write a story in one of my fandoms! If you already have an idea, I'm sure I'll love it. But if you'd like some guidance about the things I like, here it is.
Things That Make Me Happy
I love angsty stories and hurt/comfort. I love banter. I love competent characters behaving competently. I love plotty stories. I love found families. I love character studies. I love happy endings. Sometimes I like a magnificently unhappy ending, but this year I think I'd rather stay in the happy end of the pool. I prefer slash, but like gen. No matter the relationship, emotional intimacy that matters more to me than the physical sort, though I wouldn't turn down some rousing physical intimacy. While I most want to see the characters listed, I am fond of seeing other characters in the fandoms and how they all interact. And I'm not averse to OC's, if they're well drawn and essential to the plot. Crossovers are also awesome, so if you find a way to crossover two or more of these fandoms, especially the MCU-actor lead ones, that would be fab. TJ running into Colin and Ally, or growing up in the world of Push and getting involved with Nick would all make me happy.
Things I Can Do Without
I'd prefer no non-con or rape. I do not get crack!fic, song!fic or the A/B/O trope. I dislike seeing competent characters acting stupidly. I'm iffy on BDSM and most kink. Mpreg isn't quite my thing either.
And here are the details about my requested fandoms:
Political Animals
Sebastian Stan and TJ were what sucked me into this show, and though it turns out I love pretty much every character and all their crazy flaws, TJ is still the one I love most. I hurt when he screws up and am hopeful when he takes steps in the right direction. I'd love to see him find happiness, to see him shake the hold his addictions have on him. I'd love to see more of him and his grandmother together. Margaret is the one in the family that seems to care for TJ most, and the one whose good opinion TJ most cares about. And I'd love to see more of his brother or his father trying to protect him, and more of his complicated relationship with his mother. And finally, I'd love to see him find a boyfriend who'd actually look after him, not just someone who wants to shag the ex-president's son, and not someone who'll cut and run when he needs them.
Push
What I'm most interested in is seeing Nick living as an expat American in Asia. How did he survive after his dad died? Or what happens to him and Cassie next? Or anything in between. Please note, I see Nick and Cassie as having an older brother, younger sister relationship, so please don't have them romantically involved, even if you age up Cassie.

First, Colin Shea is a goddamn gift.
Second, I'm not sure exactly what sort of story I want in this fandom, so let me just tell you about my favourite scene in the movie. It's the one where Colin takes Ally to Boston Garden and they play strip horse. And Ally cleans his clock. Not because she had brothers who taught her to play. Not because Colin lets her. Just because she is better at basketball than he is and the movie gives that to her and Colin is totally cool with it. And that is awesome. (Also awesome is the fact that I'm a long time Celtics fan, so a nearly naked Chris Evans on the parquet of the Garden is the best.)
So basically, I'd love to see Ally showing her talents, Colin loving how talented she is and the two of them being adorable together. And if you can work in a bit of basketball, I would be exceedingly grateful.
Magnificent Seven (2016)
I came out of this movie desperate to know more about Goodnight Robicheaux and Billy Rocks. How did they meet; how did their partnership form; what do they mean to each other? So, give me a first meeting. Give me a scam they ran that didn't work out quite to plan. Show me something about their lives before the movie. Or give me a miracle and save them at the end and show me how they might spend their lives afterward. Just give me more of these two fascinating men. Slash or gen, either would work for me.
In the end, I hope whatever you write, you have fun with it. If it gives you joy, it's sure to bring me joy as well.
