Dear Yuletide Writer

It's another Yuletide, and I could not be more excited that you're going to write a story for me. If you already have an idea, I'm sure I'll love it. But if you'd like some guidance about the things I like, here it is.
Also, if you're wondering if I'm up for a treat, yes, I am!
Things That Make Me Happy
Angst and hurt/comfort
AUs
Banter
Competent characters behaving competently
Crossovers
Plotty stories
Character studies
Found families
Happy endings
Unhappy endings, if they're of the magnificently tragic variety.
I prefer slash, but like gen. I think the best way to solve a love triangle is polyamory. No matter the relationship, emotional intimacy matters more to me than the physical sort, though I would never turn down some rousing physical intimacy. While I most want to see the characters listed, I am fond of seeing other characters in the fandoms and how they all interact. And I'm not averse to OC's, if they're well drawn and essential to the plot.
Do Not Wants
Non-con or rape
A/B/O
BDSM and most kink
Death of a requested character
Mpreg
Additionally, I dislike seeing competent characters acting stupidly. I also don't want to see other characters or ships beyond what I've requested criticized or belittled.
And here, again, are the details about my requested fandoms:
Summer Lovers (Michael Pappas, Cathy Featherston, Lina)
Summer Lovers is ground zero for my affection for stories of polyamory. Watching baby Peter Gallagher and Daryl Hannah frolic nearly naked on the gorgeous island of Santorini and fall for a very hot French archaeologist rewired my brain. And it holds up better than a lot of films from the era, helped no doubt by having a queer director. I'd love a story that goes a bit further than the movie was willing to. Show us Cathy and Lina becoming more than friends. Or Michael experimenting with bisexuality. Or even just the three of them hanging out in the Greek islands, living their best lives, either during the film or afterwards, when Michael and Cathy decide to stay on the island.
More general likes and DNWs can be found in my letter.
And I'm definitely open to treats.
Challengers (Art Donaldson, Patrick Zweig, Tashi Donaldson)
If Summer Lovers was my first brush with polyamory in film, Challengers is the latest. Art, Patrick and Tashi are all various flavours of awful, but I love them and their messy, mixed up relationships. If you have your own idea of how you'd like to write these three, I'd love to read it. Otherwise, there are so many things I'd like to see from these three: Art and Patrick dealing with the genie Tashi let out of the bottle in that hotel room when they're teenagers. Maybe Art and Tashi skipped out on Stanford to visit Patrick on tour. I also have questions. Just what were Art and Patrick doing with those churros? And what did the three of them get up to after the fraught Challengers final?
More general likes and DNWs can be found in my letter.
And I'm definitely open to treats.
Batman: Wayne Family Adventures (Jason Todd, Damian Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, Dick Grayson)
I'm a lifelong Bat fan, and these days the Wayne Family Adventure is my favourite Bat title. I just enjoy settling in to read a story that's not going to be about anything more earth-shattering than a fight over the last of Alfred's cookies, or Damian learning how to make friends. I love all of the Bat family, but Jason, Damian and Alfred are definitely my favourites, with Dick a close fourth. I love Jason's sarcastic big brother vibe, and Damian's frightening competence that hides a big heart. I love Dick being the biggest brother and I love the thought of Alfred looking after all of them; even Bruce. So, give me a small moment between them. Jason getting on Dicks' nerves, but Dick helping him anyway. Damian getting in trouble at school and getting (bad) advice from Jason. Alfred looking after their hurts or making them their favourite food or just generally being the nurturing influence they all need.
More general likes and DNWs can be found in my letter.
And I'm definitely open to treats.
Enola Holmes (Eudoria Vernet Holmes, Edith Grayson)
Don't get me wrong. I love Enola Holmes in these movies. But the characters I love most are her mother Eudoria, and Eudoria's best friend/platonic (or not) life partner, Edith Grayson. I would absolutely watch a whole movie with those two women being badasses together. So, give me a story of the two of them. Go back to the beginning, and how they met. Or show us a moment in their fight for women's rights, or how they learn to fight for real. Or show us a time they worked together to raise Enola right. If you want to take it into the realm of slash, I'm for it. If you want to keep their friendship platonic, I'm fine with that as well.
More general likes and DNWs can be found in my letter.
And I'm definitely open to treats.
In the end, I hope you write something that gives you joy. That's sure to bring me joy as well.
Also, if you're wondering if I'm up for a treat, yes, I am!
