After three months of its absence, I'm allegedly getting my computer back tonight. And it's allegedly been fixed. Or at least vast numbers of its parts have been completely replaced. I'm hopeful. And I'm sure the S.O. is ecstatic, since I'll no longer be begging, borrowing or stealing time on his computer.

I love livejournal, except when it's misbehaving. Which it was last night in spades. Couldn't read any stories, which meant my huge backlog is now even huger, and will be positively epic by the time I get back from MediaWest. But hey, that means more stories to read, so cool.

I'm so looking forward to MW and the vid show, even though preparing for that ending up vexing my soul. Since I am sans computer, I had to scrounge around to find a friend with a Mac I could use, and then spent the better part of two days trying to get my vids onto tape for the show. Much stress later, I've got a usable tape. And hate my DV convertor.
