How did that happen?

To misquote Withnail, I've finished a vid by mistake.

It wasn't supposed to happen. I had a plan: write in July and August, vid in the fall. I also had a plan for exactly what songs I was going to vid. But then I heard a song on CBC radio last Monday, and I immediately thought "Hmm, how very Bodie and Doyle." And before I knew it, I'd downloaded the song from iTunes and started the vid. And now it's done.

Though I'd sworn I wasn't going to stress myself by getting a vid ready for VividCon's premiere show, I've now unexpectedly got one done in time. And I may just submit it.

And in the meantime, if any of the flist would like to beta a Pros vid set to a Roy Hargrove song, drop me a line. (I've had the big guy take a look at it, but I wouldn't mind a second opinion.)

A Pros vid! What a wonderful thing! I'm not a particularly good analyst/critic of vids, but I am in the process of working with the vidder on the Vividcon auction vid that I won the bid for (Pros, of course - lithiumdoll is the vidder), so I've been trying to get more into the mindset, to learn. I'd be happy to take a look at it for you if you think I could be of any help.
