Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] probodie. And such a perfect meme to trot out the new Pros icon to.

Your word is FUCK. You like to come across as rude
and rebellious, and often you do. You also are
intelligent and maybe surprisingly sensitive,
though God help anyone who said that in front
of your friends.

Heh. I got "crap," which apparently means I am gossipy, sneaky and sickly sweet, yet also effective. Amusingly, though I say "Fuck" a lot, I do seem to prefer "crap" to "shit," and my favorite stupid remark is "Oh, crappity!"

Crap is also a fine swear word, and I may just have to appropriate 'crappity.' But nothing is quite so satisfying as a well-placed "fuck." (My current favourite sentence in my in progress Pros epic uses fuck, or a variation thereof, not once, not twice, but thrice.)

The funny, often poignant movie Four Weddings and a Funeral as I recall begins with Hugh Grant saying "Fuck!" and "Fuckity fuck!" about four dozen times. It's one of my favorite movie beginnings.

Mine too. And I use "fuckity fuck" far too often. Or just often enough, I suppose, depending on your point of view.

My word is bugger. "You are generally quite restrained, but sometimes your anger or frustration come to the surface and it all comes out. Yet you somehow can't stop sounding polite, despite it all."

That's actually surprisingly accurate, except for the polite part. Although I don't actually ever say "bugger," as it happens. Perhaps I shall start.

You, on the other hand, are so not rude. Maybe rebellious. Definitely sensitive and intelligent.

I love saying "bugger." (Both my parents use it constantly, so I get it honestly.) It's better, though, if you say it with a northern English accent.

I say bugger a lot, and with a northern English accent too!

My word came out as SHIT when I did the quiz- another good one.

And yours is a real northern English accent, not a Canadian, faux, raised-on-too-many-BBC-series one. Cool!

Sure is. Originally, I came from Yorkshire (Last of the Summer Wine country). Although, it's become slightly tainted by a twang of Geordie now, having lived in the North East (Auf Wiedersehen Pet country) for 11 years.

Bollocks is a fine swear word, and should totally be one of the answers.

It's one of my fave words - it covers lots of things. A bit like fuck really. :-)

Oh, I simply adore Yorkshire accents. Which has nothing to do with how much I also adore Sean Bean. Oh, wait, that would be a lie.

I also have an affection for the Geordie accent. My dad spent 7 years in Newcastle before he immigrated to Canada. (Not that he developed the accent. He's lived nearly 50 years in Canada and he's still got a wicked Latvian accent.)

Yep, they're both very, um, robust, as words go. ;-)

Well, probodie comes from very close to Sean Bean country, very close indeed - closer than I did even, and that was close enough... And she still has her accent, undiluted!
