Sure is. Originally, I came from Yorkshire (Last of the Summer Wine country). Although, it's become slightly tainted by a twang of Geordie now, having lived in the North East (Auf Wiedersehen Pet country) for 11 years.

Oh, I simply adore Yorkshire accents. Which has nothing to do with how much I also adore Sean Bean. Oh, wait, that would be a lie.

I also have an affection for the Geordie accent. My dad spent 7 years in Newcastle before he immigrated to Canada. (Not that he developed the accent. He's lived nearly 50 years in Canada and he's still got a wicked Latvian accent.)

Well, probodie comes from very close to Sean Bean country, very close indeed - closer than I did even, and that was close enough... And she still has her accent, undiluted!
