Nov. 5th, 2009 10:51 pmAfter spending over two hours in line with Ros for her H1N1 shot, 45 minutes of it in the cold, and then working on actual work stuff for an hour and a half tonight, I nearly gave up on doing even ten minutes of writing. But I figured what the heck, and gave it a shot.
Word count: 186
I was hoping to make it an even two hundred, but my exhausted brain gave up the ghost on me.
We're leaving tomorrow night to visit my mom up north, but I'm hoping to keep the pseudo-momentum going and keep working on the story. (I'm nearly up to the point past which I'm not sure what happens. I need a McGuffin!)

Date: 2009-11-06 11:38 pm (UTC)I love Hitchcock... I connect on all sorts of levels to his sense of humour and some of the things he obviously finds fascinating about people. *watches Zed back away slowly*
Hitchcock is arguably the origin of the "McGuffin" concept so I had to mention him.
Sure you can. I'm not guaranteeing that my feral little brain can help but I'll give it a whirl. *g*

Date: 2009-11-09 04:21 pm (UTC)I knew why you brought up Hitchcock. Just so you know that I know. *g*
I'm about to finally send that promised plotting email. (Not only did I not have internet over the weekend, but I also didn't do any writing. Blame a packed family visit and a Sweetie who came down with another, though blessedly brief and minor, fever.)
