Migraines suck. A lot.

I'll be back when it doesn't feel like I've got an icepick in my eye.

Also, if anyone's had any luck with any serious migraine meds, I'd love to hear what they are. The Maxalt is only being fitfully effective these days.

I used Imtrex for years, in all its forms (nasal, injection, pill), but it stopped working for me about 2 years ago. Now I take Fioricet. Works 95% of the time if I catch it early.

Seconded: My exHusband uses Imtrex, works pretty well on him. He's used it off and on for ten years (whenever we could afford it, mostly!).

Here's hoping the bloody thing disappears soon. It's not the pain so much as the utter tedium that I hate. I can't do anything while I've got one.
