A Ros and Take That Moment

The other day I'm making dinner with Take That's Progress tour on in the background when Ros and the Sweetie come home from the park. I flip the concert back to Shine so Ros can watch it while I'm finishing dinner. (They do this version as an Alice in Wonderland pastiche, complete with the White Rabbit, and Ros loves it.)
Here's Howard, Mark, Jason and the rabbit.

A couple of minutes later, a very excited Ros comes running into the kitchen.
Ros: Mommy, mommy, I know why he sings "But you're stuck in a hole!"
Me: Why?
Ros: It's because the song is about a rabbit!
I don't know what I love more, the fact that the line was clearly bugging her, or the fact that she's latched onto the explanation that it's about a rabbit. And she's sticking to her guns on the point. Any time she hears it now, she insists "This is about a rabbit!"
Of course, she's partly right, since the song is about Robbie, and they no doubt did the whole Alice in Wonderland thing because Robbie did a video a few years ago dressed as the White Rabbit:

And Robbie appears at the end of Shine via video screen as the Rabbit.

Since I had to grab my own screen caps of Shine, have a few more, just for fun.
Mark in what is possibly the most ridiculous costume of his career. (Or perhaps not. There's certainly no shortage of ridiculous costumes in Take That's history.)

Gleeful!Mark posing for the crowd.

Howard and Jason showing off their moves, as always. Not bad for a pair of fortysomethings.

In other news, I have finished the final assignment in the bloody online course I've been taking. It's not the most brilliant job I've ever done, but as long as I pull off a reasonably respectable grade, I'll be happy. Now I've just got to survive the launch of a massive new project I've been part of at work, and then I can get my head back around the Pros Big Bang and any other fannish project that strikes my fancy. Yay!

Date: 2012-04-15 12:45 pm (UTC)I couldn't resist doing more screencaps than necessary. The boys are too much fun.
I'm soooo happy to be done that assignment. Pros BB up next! (I was stuck in a meeting on Friday afternoon that had nothing to do with me for nearly half an hour and got nearly a page written. )

Date: 2012-04-15 12:58 pm (UTC)I've sent mine to my beta today... managed to get kickstarted and once I start writing I can't stop so there were 28,696 words in 14 days. That might change once my beta gets her hands on it. I felt perfectly confident about the story while I was writing but now I wonder if it's any good at all - so the only thing to do is let someone else decide!
On the minus side, there's almost no hurt/comfort and it's a historical AU so there might be expert readers to pick holes in it. On the plus side, it's out of my head and winging its way to Australia.*g*

Date: 2012-04-15 01:14 pm (UTC)It's the first draft that always kills me. Once I've got that done, I actually enjoy the editing part. I'm really keen on getting cracking on mine, so I have hopes that I'll be able to write mine sort of quickly. Or at least as quickly as I have time for.

Date: 2012-04-15 02:06 pm (UTC)The first draft gets written in my head. Then the second reaches the keyboard/screen. I hate editing - I get bored and want to go on to the next story. *g*
Hope you can get going on yours straight away!!
