Somehow, in the last 24 hours, I've booked us a trip to China.
We're using a tour company two families we know have travelled with, and they already had a March break tour set up, which is when we were planning on going, so it was remarkably easy. But I'm still sort of stunned that this has taken substantially less time than booking our Disney trip this year did.
I'm also amused that Ros is far more excited about this trip than she was about the Disney trip. I really hope she does enjoy it in the end. (Positive side: there will be pictures with pandas! Baby pandas! Negative side: we have no idea if we'll be able to meet with her foster family, which she's really, really counting on in spite of the fact that we've been preparing her for the possibility of it not happening.)
Also, I'm now keeping my fingers very crossed that Mark Owen doesn't announce a tour for the two weeks in March that we'll be in China, because that is literally the only thing that will keep me from seeing him live.

I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times and love it, but we've only been to China once before, when we adopted Ros. This trip will be a very different thing, though we'll be going to some of the same places. But not with a baby who barely knows us this time. It's definitely going to be incredible.
