Well, That Was Stressful
Nov. 12th, 2014 04:53 amI have Take That tickets!

Not that it was easy.
I hit Ticketmaster's site right at 9:00 a.m. GMT (4:00 a.m. our time), only to find the pre-sale tickets already seemed to be sold out.
Hit refresh for twenty minutes in the hopes they just hadn't gone live yet, then finally thought about checking Twitter. And yes, they'd already added shows!
So the whole family will be going to see TT on Friday, June 12th.We're in the upper level, but right next to the stage. ETA: No, we're not! We're lower level, but right on the edge of the stage, drat it. Panic and lack of sleep made me reverse the section and seat numbers. But still, we have tickets!
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Date: 2014-11-25 06:14 pm (UTC)Coffee would be great! I live not far from the O2 anyway (you can see it from my house) but really, I can meet you anywhere that's convenient for you - it's your holiday after all! :)
If you're looking for any ideas, my first place to check out anything interesting going on in town is to check out this blog: http://now-here-this.timeout.com What sort of things is Ros into? The museums here are free (which the exception of some of the smaller, 'niche' type ones) and the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum usually go down pretty well with kids!
Don't worry! :) I know how busy you are! I think everyone's pretty hectic anyway with the run up to the Christmas season, so perhaps it might be worth trying to run it in late December/into January, when things have quietened down a little for everyone...?

Date: 2014-11-25 06:38 pm (UTC)Coffee before the gig would be cool, but it's probably best if we make plans closer to the actual date. I'll have to see what our schedule looks like.
That Time Out blog is brilliant. Shall keep an eye on that. Ros' favourite thing is to run around and be active, so I'm going light on the museums, though we'll probably check out the Science Museum. So far I've flagged the London Eye, the Princess of Wales Memorial Playground, complete with pirate ship you can climb on, and outside of London, Go Ape Tree Top Adventures. (The only thing Ros loves more than figure skating is climbing.) And I'm going to try and talk her into a jet boat tour on the Thames. We're also going to look for some family friendly shows in the West End. (Ooh, just found out the Globe is doing As You Like It next summer. Which is where we got Ros' name!)
January would probably be best for me for a fic-a-thon. I'll be off work with Ros between Christmas and New Year's. And I've just finished my first (non-TT) story since July, so hopefully my muse is talking to me again.
