PRZed, what an amazing vid! Thank you thank you so much.
The music is mesmerizing - that flugelhorn is so sensuous and rich and the voice is so intimate.
The repetitive flashes of scenes - perfect! I love the clips you chose. You manage to get just the exactly right tiny segments - so quick but so full of meaning, poignancy and humor. Favorites - Ray's first whisper, Bodie's voice, both of their spins, Bodie's shadows, goes without saying all of Bodie's hairs and stares... ;) My heart kept melting more and more as the ending approached and the Ray and Bodie clips started alternating, and then puddled completely when you progress to them together. ::Love::

My daughter(6)heard the song and came in to watch over my shoulder. Her comment was "Are those guys always always *always* together?" Why, yes, they are!

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't heard any Roy Hargrove before this, but as soon as I did, I knew I had to vid it to Pros. It was a fun vid to make, trying to find just the perfect clip for each line.

BTW, I meant to comment on your post about M Fae's fiction. It was incredibly perceptive and made me remember all over again why I love her writing, even when she rips my heart out.

Your daughter is obviously very perceptive.

It was very pretty to watch. I know NOTHING of the fandom, save it's a British cop show and one is Bodie and one is Doyle.


And they are very much in love. That at least I took from the vid. Two halves of the same person.

Does that ever remind me how much I like Ray Doyle.

I didn't immediately recognise the episodes my two favourite clips were from. Guess that means I'll have to do some rewatching soon! (Of course I could just ask you, but doing it the long way will probably be more fun!)

Thanks for sharing, especially so promptly after the VividCon show. Getting to see it the same weekend makes me feel a tiny bit part of the event, even from this distance!

Isn't Doyle just the best? And Bodie ain't so bad, either.

If you ever get tired of watching episdoes (as if) you can always ask me where the clips come from.

Glad I could bring VVC a bit closer. (I'm jealous of those attending, myself. My vids got to go, but not me.)
