House O' Pestilence

So, last weekend I was out from Saturday to Monday with the worst migraine I've had in at least ten years. (I actually went to the doctor and got the serious migraine drugs for it.)

This week, Ros got a truly horrendous cough on Thursday (which is weirdly okay during the day, but gets so bad at night that she's nearly thrown up), and then Friday night the Sweetie developed aches, chills and fever. (103, off and on.)

At the moment, I'm the only well one in the house.

A house, I might add, that looks like a bomb exploded in it. If there was a bomb made up entirely of doll clothes, toys and cat hair, that is.

And this just as I was hoping to watch stuff on the PVR, get some serious work done on the Batman vid, and put more words down on my UNCLE Down the Chimney story. (I got prompts that required plot! And research! And I actually have nearly 2,000 words written.)

Oh yeah, and after years of contemplating it, I signed up for Yuletide.

And also wrisomifu. A.K.A. Write Something You Miserable Fuck. Because draycevixen did. And I love the name. And I'll never do NaNoWriMo. And it may actually get me through the UNCLE and Yuletide stories.

I curse the Plague Fairy and the horse she rode in on.

As for wriso, glad to hear you're on board. Even on crazy days, I reckon I can manage 10 minutes. (Though days like today I begin to wonder. Urgh.)
