Soccer Aid Squee

Last night, just as I was about to crash, I found out that Robbie had (finally) announced on his blog that Mark would be participating in Soccer Aid this May.

I'm going to let scruffy footballer!Mark illustrate my reaction to this news:


Football and Take That, with a side helping of possible Willowen cuddling? I honestly don't think I can bear the awesomeness involved.

I have to say, if the match wasn't happening the weekend after we get back from our Disney vacation, I'd probably already have tickets (even though only lousy ones are left; yes, I checked) and have my flight booked to Manchester. As it is, I'll be making a donation to UNICEF and standing by to torrent the game and watch it ASAP.

Can it be May yet?

Isn't it just AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW?!?!!?!?

I think I love EVERYTHING that has to with it and I LOVED how Rob announced it, made it soooooooo important and awwww, I could just see him sit there in front of his laptop, hardly able to wait until the deadline (he created himself!), fangirling like a really BIG GIRL!

And I lovelovelove just how happy this must make Mark!

Aaaaaaaand OF COURSE you have checked the tickets! I'd have been disappointed if you hadn't! *g*

I honestly thought about flying over for the game.

And Howard's doing a DJ gig in Manchester a week afterwards, which would've been PERFECT.

But the gig is also the day of the Canada/USA friendly here which I have already planned to go to and will buy tickets for this week.

They are treating us well in the 'lull' year, it must be said *g* I'll be too soon post-op for it myself, but I have faith in the power of other people putting up screencaps, YT of the 'best bits' etc - as I say to kayberrisford, Robbie + Mark + Little Shorts + Football - hugging, bruising and cuteness is inevitable *g*

Agh, I'm so tempted, but with only the rubbish tickets left...*sigh*! If you were booking that flight, I'd be there in a shot, though :)

I'm hoping the Willowen cuddling is probably more than possible (and *fingers crossed* inevitable ;))

Just had to come over here to vent my squeee! again. Ahh it really is amazing. And surely there will be Willowen cuddling?!! If not just to please us, then they can't keep their hands off each other anyway, so that should be settled!! I hadn't seen that scruffy footballer!Mark pic before, one of my favorite looks on him!

I love me a fast, agile attacking midfielder with good dribbling skills! Combined with Mark = TOO much. Really curious to see if he's still got it (besides all the rest he's got going for him, damn him!).

When I first read the news about Mark being at Soccer Aid I was at work. I just gasped for air and went "Awww wow!", forgetting I was among people :D

I had hoped that Mark would be there, but didn't dare to believe it. Sadly I can't go but I'm so looking forward to all the pics and vids. Btw, do you know how to watch this game on your computer outside UK? ITV Player only work if you are in the UK :(

I loved Rob's message, it was just so lovely and sweet. Awwwww - again! :))
